2020 Camper Applications are now closed. Prior music experience is not required and instruments are provided use at summer camp. Showcase day and will need to meet at the Showcase venue. Venue will be located rock camp for girls the OKC metro area. Previous camper showcases have been held at The Freede Theater inside the OKC Civic Center, The Will Rogers Theater and The Tower Theater. Tickets will be for sale online and at the venue day of. 350 per camper for the week of camp. Financial aid and scholarships are available to those in need.

Tuition is payable by check or online by credit card. Applications must be complete including camper question portion to be reviewed for consideration.
THE CAMPER SELF EXPRESSION PIECE THIS YEAR IS THE CAMPER ESSAY PORTION OF THE APPLICATION, videos and artwork are NOT needed to apply in 2020. Several factors influence final decisions regarding camper placement. Those factors include: age, instrument, diversity and interest. Instrument and Band Assignment: Campers will be assigned one instrument to focus on for the week and will find out what instrument they are playing when they arrive at camp Monday morning. Every day they will have a group lesson in that instrument, and play that instrument in their band. Applicants are asked to share their instrument preferences in the application. Their choices are: voice, guitar, bass, keys or drums. If a camper has their own guitar or bass, they may bring it.
Rock n’ Roll Camp for OKC does not accept liability for personal instruments. Snacks: Campers must bring their own lunch and a snack each day. We do not provide lunch for campers. Re-usable water bottles are necessary to help stay hydrated throughout the day. Each day at lunchtime the campers and volunteers will be treated to a live performance! Past lunchtime bands and performers include The So Help Me’s, Step Mom, Ali Harter, Carter Sampson, Kierston White and KALO!

This process is honor; this unique camp experience will include instrument lending, applicants are asked to share their instrument preferences in the application. Past lunchtime bands and performers include The So Help Me’s, we ask those who can afford to pay full price to do so. Up to 3 weeks prior to a camp’s start date, the event is FREE and ALL AGES! Each camp is put together by the community it represents, snacks: Campers must bring their own lunch and a snack each day.
Our Volunteers: Our volunteers are an awesome bunch of local business owners, artists, musicians, mothers, grandmothers and empowering women and we could not have camp without them! Our volunteer mentors are thoughtfully selected and screened through an online application, in-person or phone interview, and fingerprinting. This camp completely changed my daughter! Now we are Rock Camp for LIFE. We’ve had to cancel this year’s in-person camp sessions because of COVID-19. There are 4 programs to choose from over the course of 3 weeks. She feels strong, engaged, challenged, and accepted here.
I learned I can be loud. It made me feel more confident and I made new friends. Over the years, RCGLA has remained a shining light and source of strength, positivity, acceptance, and love. It’s our 4th Annual Feminist Holiday Card Making Party! Come hang out with us for cocoa, community, creativity, and cheer for a crafty Sunday afternoon at Junior High! All supplies will be provided, and bring a mug for the Make Your Own Hot Chocolate Station! The event is FREE and ALL AGES!
